Denim gives you a centralized view to see all the payments transactions in your Denim account. These include all the incoming payments and the outgoing payments.

Locate the transactions' list
Click on Transactions in the navigation. The list of all the transactions opens.
In the list, you can see options to:
- Search a transaction by company name, or invoicing amount, or a memo number
- Narrow the search for the transaction date within the range of two dates
- Use different types of filters by the transaction company
- Use different types of filters by the job funding source
- See the transaction details for its internal details including each payment, depending on the transaction type

See the transactions list
The list shows you all the transactions in this Denim account. For each transaction, you can see the following details.
Date: The date of transaction.
Company Name: The name of the company involved in the transaction.
Amount: The amount in the transaction.
Method: The method to carry the transaction, the options are:
- Express: It shows that Express Factoring was enabled for the contractor during this transaction. (Please see Express Factoring for more details.)
- ACH: The ACH payment method is used in this transaction.
Reference: The reference text for the transaction; it can be a short note in the transaction for some context, or a system-generated reference code.
Type: The type of transaction whether it was an Outgoing payment, or Incoming payment.
Option to see transaction details: For each transaction, click on the small arrow at the end to expand the transaction row. For example see how the $400 amount transaction shows the details below.

See transactions' details
Different types of transactions show different details. For example if the incoming payments are from the customers, or from Denim cash, or if the outgoing transactions are for the contractors. Here are a few examples of different use cases of transaction details.

The Denim cash deposit is an incoming payment transaction. You can see the transaction details, as below.

When you make payments to the contractors, the outgoing transaction shows its details as below.

Search a transaction
While looking at the list, you can search specific transactions by the company name, the transaction amount, or some reference ID or memo number. You can also filter the list to see all the transactions within specific dates.
When you start writing the search criteria in the Search field, the list updates automatically., for example as below.
In Start Date and End Date, select the range of two dates to see transactions only between these two dates.

Filter by the transaction company
In Filter by Transaction Company, you can filter the transactions' list based on the transaction company. For example see only those transactions when payment is made to you, payment is made by you, payments received from the customers only, or payments made to the contractors only.
Example 1: See payments from customers only
Select Payments from Customers and the list shows only those transactions that show the payments that you have received from your customers.
Example 2: See all payments made to you
Select Payments to you and the list shows only those transactions that show the payments made to you.
Click on the small arrow in any transaction row to see its details.

Filter by the job funding source
In Filter by Job Funding Source, you can filter the transactions' list based on the source of job funding. For example see only those transactions where Denim cash is involved, or for customer receivables only.
Example 1: See Denim Cash funded only
Select Denim Cash Funded and the list shows only those transactions that involve Denim Cash.
Click on the arrow in the transaction row to see its details.
Example 2: See Factored payments only
Select Factored and the list shows only the factored jobs transactions. These Factored job payments can be Incoming as well as Outgoing.
For any factored job transaction, click on the arrow to expand the row. It shows the details, for example as below.
For this expanded transaction, you can see:
- The Job ID
- The PO number of the invoice number
- The type of payment such as an Advance payment as defined in the job details
- Total amount in the particular step in the payment
- The amount that actually applied to your Denim account payment
- The status as the result of that transaction such as Fully Paid

Options to copy and paste payment details
When you expand any transaction to see its details, a Copy to Clipboard icon is available in the expanded view. Click on this icon to copy the payment details.
You can use this option to paste these such as in your internal communication via emails or messages, or in the messages with the Denim team, or with your contractors or customers.
