Denim gives payees the option to receive express payments that can be settled in your bank account, and ready to use within 5 minutes. This includes weekends and holidays, as there are no restrictions with Denim's Express Payments.
In order to be eligible, you must:
- Have a bank account that is real-time-payment eligible
- Have a payer or broker who has opted-in to offering Express Payments
Can I chose which invoices are express paid?
Yes! If you navigate to your Denim dashboard, you will see an "Express Payment Filter." This filter shows invoices that are eligible to be paid instantly. Then, by selecting the "Get Paid Instantly" button, you will see the exact fee breakdown for this specific invoice
How much does being paid instantly cost?
Denim clients set the fee that they want to charge for Express Payments. Since Denim provides discounts for delaying payments, this helps offset the increased factoring fee charged to Denim clients for paying faster. Denim will also charge a $5 fee to cover the transaction cost for sending and settling these payments instantly.
If you are already paying a QuickPay fee, you'll be able to see the difference between the original "reimbursed" amount, and the new Express Payment fee.
Can I chose to be paid instantly for all invoices?
Yes! If you head over to your Payment Settings tab, you can pick and choose which payers you always want to be paid instantly from. This setting will instantly pay all already-approved invoices, and all future invoices from this specific payer
Please note that payment will be sent instantly upon job approval. If there are paperwork issues with the job, that could impact when payments are sent. For invoices with the "Get Paid Instantly" button, these have been already approved and therefore there is no delay for review.
