Before you add a new job, you can define some global settings so that these are set by default when you add a new job. For example you can set the default settings for each new job that it does not show the payables. It means that you do not need to add any contractor details in the job.
You can change these settings while adding that new job. (Please see Add a new job for more details.)

Left side navigation
Click on Settings in the navigation.
The Settings shows its own navigation in the left side.

In user profile menu at the top
Click on the user profile image at the top. A menu opens.
Click on Settings.

No payables settings
In Company Settings, click on Platform Preferences. The Platform Preferences page opens.
Clear the Show Payable box if it is pre-selected.
When this checkbox is not selected, the adding a new job form does not ask you for the contractor details. In the Pay a Contractor section, the No Contractor checkbox is selected automatically now.
You can clear this box to add contractor details for a specific job, if required.
Click on the Save button to save these changes.
