Before adding a new job, you can configure global settings that will be applied by default during job creation. For example, if you set the default job type to Factored, the job creation form will automatically reflect this setting for all new jobs.
These default settings can still be modified when adding an individual job. (Please see Add a new job for more details.)

Left side navigation
Click on Settings in the navigation.
The Settings shows its own navigation in the left side.

In user profile menu at the top
Click on the user profile image at the top. A menu opens.
Click on Settings.

Job type settings: Set as factored
In Company Settings, click on Platform Preferences.
The Platform Preferences page opens.
Select the Default to Factored box so that every time you you create a new job, the job is of Factored type by default.
You can change this option to Non-Factored while adding a new job, if required.
Click on the Save button to save these changes.
